Guidelines and Claim Procedures - Motor Vehicle

Follow these 3 simple steps



The Participant and/or the driver must do the following


Own Damage Claim (Your NCD will be forfeited)

• Report to the Police within 24 hours as required by Malaysian Law

• Send the damaged vehicle to any of our Authorized Panel workshops or to your franchise service dealer.

• Submit the fully completed claim form which will be provided via on line together with all supporting documents as soon as possible.

• Do not instruct the repairer to proceed with the repairs until you have a written consent from us.


No fault Own Damage Claim (Your NCD will not be forfeited)

• Follow the same procedures as above and your NCD will not be forfeited only when the accident is deemed not your fault.

Note: Terms & Conditions as per KFK agreement


Involving Third Party

• Follow the same procedures as above.

• Do not admit liability to the Third Party and/or another party.

• Please inform CIMB Aviva Takaful Berhad for further advice.


Theft of Vehicle / Accessories Claim

• Notify the Police immediately.

• Please inform CIMB Aviva Takaful Berhad by telephone within 24 hours of the Theft.

• If theft of accessories, approval from CIMB Aviva Takaful Berhad must be obtained before replacement.

Note: Claimable if your comprehensive motor takaful certificate is extended with accessories cover extension


Damage to Windscreen Claim

• If you are traveling in an area not supported by an approved service centre and your automobile window glass is damaged, impairing your vision or if a piece of glass is missing, contact your Independant Insurance Broker or CIMB Aviva Takaful Berhad directly for the correct procedures to follow

• Send the damaged vehicle to any of our Authorized Panel workshops (Please click) or to your franchise service dealer or to any other workshops.

Note: Claimable is your comprehensive motor takaful certificate is extended with a windscreen cover extension


Notification only

• Please inform CIMB Aviva Takaful Berhad although you do not wish to make a claim as this is a requirement of the Certificate Terms & Conditions.
